At Emu Heights Psychology, we offer online Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments. All assessments include a comprehensive intake form, diagnostic interview, and psychometric questionnaires — conducted online in a low-demand, affirming space.
You can choose the level of assessment and reporting that best fits your needs.
You’ll be supported by Kylie Wheeler, a late-diagnosed neurodivergent psychologist (AuDHDer)
Please Note:
Psychologists do not prescribe or manage medication. If you're exploring medication options, we recommend consulting a GP or psychiatrist. Your assessment may assist them in guiding your care.
Adult Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessment
Discovery Assessment
(Autism only $850 / Autism & ADHD combined $880)
If you’re curious about whether Autism or ADHD may be part of your experience, and you don’t need extensive documentation, the Discovery Assessment offers a gentle first step.
This service is designed to provide affordable clarity and guidance, helping you better understand yourself and your neurodivergent profile.
It includes:
Comprehensive intake form
Online self-report questionnaires
A diagnostic interview
A brief summary letter outlining diagnostic outcomes
A 30-minute feedback session to discuss outcomes (optional)
Your Neurodivergent Discovery Journey — a resource to help you understand your diagnosis and begin integrating this new self-awareness with compassion and clarity.
Please note: This is a diagnostic assessment and can be recognised for clinical or GP purposes.
However, it may not be sufficient for some formal requirements — such as NDIS applications, medical-legal documentation, or detailed workplace/university accommodations.
Clients choose this option as a comfortable, low-pressure way to begin their neurodivergent discovery journey.
Insight Assessment
(Autism only $1,200 / Autism & ADHD combined $1,350)
Our Insight Assessment offers a detailed diagnostic process for those seeking a clear understanding of their neurodivergent profile, along with a diagnostic report.
This option provides the clarity and documentation often needed for study, workplace, or personal support purposes.
It includes:
Comprehensive intake form (completed online in your own time)
Psychometric assessments (completed online in your own time)
MIGDAS-2 diagnostic interview (Autism)
DIVA 2.0 diagnostic interview (ADHD)
A 6+ page diagnostic report
A 30-minute feedback session to discuss outcomes (optional)
Your Neurodivergent Discovery Journey — a supportive resource designed to help you make sense of your diagnosis and explore what it means for you
Please note: This is a diagnostic assessment suitable for clinical or GP purposes. If you require documentation for NDIS or more complex needs, or just want a more detailed report for your own understanding, our Comprehensive Assessment may be more appropriate.
Clients choose this option as a balanced and supportive pathway — offering both professional depth and practical recommendations for daily life.
Comprehensive Assessment
(Autism only $1,900 / Autism & ADHD combined $2,150)
The Comprehensive Assessment is our most in-depth diagnostic service, designed for those who need detailed documentation and a thorough understanding of their neurodivergent profile.
It includes:
Comprehensive intake form
MIGDAS-2 diagnostic interview (Autism)
DIVA 2.0 diagnostic interview (ADHD)
Psychometric assessments
Collateral input (where available)
A detailed 10+ page diagnostic report with tailored recommendations across life domains
A 60-minute feedback session to review findings and recommendations
Your Neurodivergent Discovery Journey — a resource to help you understand and integrate your diagnosis with clarity and self-compassion
Please note: This is a diagnostic assessment suitable for recognition by GPs, allied health professionals, and workplace/university accommodations. While it provides a comprehensive diagnostic foundation, NDIS eligibility decisions require a multidisciplinary approach and may involve additional functional or allied health assessments.
Clients choose this option when they wish to gain a thorough understanding of their neurodivergent profile, supported by comprehensive documentation and guidance.
All assessments are diagnostic — each provides a formal outcome based on DSM-5-TR criteria. The difference between options lies in interview depth and report detail, not whether a diagnosis is made.
Upgrade Path: If you start with a Discovery Assessment and later choose Insight or Comprehensive, the fee you’ve paid will be credited toward your chosen package (within 6 months).

You will also receive a copy of Your Neurodivergent Discovery Journey — a supportive resource designed to help you make sense of your diagnosis and begin exploring what it means for you.
7. Optional follow-up sessions
Optional feedback sessions to explore your diagnosis are included for all assessment options (30 minutes for the Discovery and Insight options and 50 minutes for the Comprehensive option).
